Just like you.
I remember when I was just like you. Freewheeling and unrestrained. The only thing I cared about is what is currently happening in front of me rather than current events. Just like you, I hid in my box whenever something scary happened. I’d be troubled with drama and relationships all the time. Knowing who did what and where it happened. Trying to go through school with an active social life while maintaining good grades, just like you. Built up walls with the premise of seeing who can break down these walls but really trying to keep people out. Yearning to find my self but still clinging to myself. Willing to be ignorant but saw the imbalance. I remember when I used to be just like you. It’s something I don’t want to be again.
